The Story
From Cabarete Beach to the International Stage
Born October 3, 2003 in Cabarete, Davisito grew up surrounded by kites — but his path into kitesurfing didn’t follow the usual system.
After just a few hours of formal lessons at Kite Buen Hombre, he took control of his own progression. What followed was relentless self-driven training: daily sessions, studying top riders, and pushing limits far beyond what structured instruction offered.
His story goes deeper.
As a child, Davisito survived a severe burn accident that led to years of treatment at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Boston, including more than 48 surgeries throughout his life. His final surgery was completed in 2025.
The 2026 season marks his first full year competing without limitations.
And he made it count.
