We want every experience with us to be worth it —
whether you're buying gear, booking lessons, or staying with us in Buen Hombre or Cabarete. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
Physical products (kite gear & accessories)
You have 14 days from delivery to return any physical product purchased through kitebuenhombre.com.
To be eligible, items must be unused, unmodified, and in original packaging. Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll process your refund to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived defective or incorrect — in that case, we cover the return label and issue a full refund.
Not eligible for return: used, damaged, or modified gear.
Kite lessons & courses
Our lesson cancellation policy:

30 or more days before your start date — full reschedule

3–6 days before — convert to a credit for future use

Under 48 hours — no refund; credit only

Weather or wind cancellation by us — full reschedule

Mid-course withdrawal — no refund for sessions already completed
Lesson packages (10+1) are non-transferable but fully reschedulable. Credits are valid for 12 months.
Accommodation (Buen Hombre & Cabarete)
For direct bookings made through kitebuenhombre.com:

Minimum stay is 4 nights. Bookings made through Airbnb are subject to Airbnb's cancellation policy at the time of booking.
Rental equipment

Damage to rental gear — client is responsible per the rental agreement signed at the time of booking

We're a small, owner-operated school that's been running since 2013. We don't hide behind fine print — if something goes wrong, talk to us directly and we'll sort it out.
