Buen Hombre is a flat-water lagoon on the north-west coast of the Dominican Republic. We opened here in 2013 as the first IKO Pro Center in Monte Cristi province, and we have taught more than 3,000 students since. Our guests rate us 4.9 stars.

How do you learn to kitesurf in the Dominican Republic?
At Kite Buen Hombre you learn in private lessons, one instructor with one student, in the warm, shallow, flat-water lagoon at Playa Buen Hombre in Monte Cristi. Courses start with a 3-hour Kite Start or an 11-hour Beginner Course and progress from safety and kite control through body dragging and water starts to your first independent rides.
