BEFORE
KITE BUEN HOMBRE
WAS A SCHOOL.
In 2013, Miky and Riin started building Kite Buen Hombre in a place that was still largely unknown to the outside world.
There was no established kite scene waiting for them.
There was wind, water, a fishing village and a lot to figure out.
They had to build the operation, teach the first students,
learn the place and work out how to make a professional kite school function at the end of the road.
The school grew. Miky never stopped riding.

STRAPLESS ISN'T JUST A STYLE.
IT'S A LANGUAGE.
Miky's riding is built around precision, timing and flow.
No straps. No shortcuts. Just the kite, the board, the wind and the ability to put everything together at exactly the right moment.

THE SMALL THINGS ARE THE BIG THINGS.

KITE POSITION

BOARD CONTROL

LANDING
Good riding can look effortless. It isn't. The difference is often in the details — the position of the kite, the timing of the movement, the edge, the board and the moment the rider commits.

HE KNOWS HOW TO RIDE.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, HE KNOWS HOW TO TEACH.
Miky understands that the person standing in front of him isn't trying to become a champion.
They're trying to get their kite under control.
Make their first turn. Stay upwind.
Or finally land the trick they've been working on for months.
That's where his riding experience becomes useful: not because he expects everyone to ride like him,
but because he knows what good riding feels like —
and how to break it down.
Teaching without ego.
Guiding without pressure.
YOU CAN KNOW A PLACE.
OR YOU CAN REALLY KNOW IT.
Miky has spent years riding these waters. He knows the wind shifts, the shallow water, the changing conditions and the different moods of the wind and the sea.
That local knowledge becomes part of the experience — knowing where to ride, when to move,
and what the water is telling you.
That's something you can't learn from a manual.

WATCH CLOSELY.

MIKY × BUEN HOMBRE

THE CRAFT

Buen Hombre became the place where both could happen.
AFTER ALL THESE YEARS,
HE STILL GOES RIDING.
That's probably the simplest way to understand Miky.
He built the school because he loves the sport.
He teaches because he loves seeing people progress.
And he still gets excited when the wind comes in.
Some people have a job in kitesurfing.
Miky built his life around it.
