Are all Kite Buen Hombre instructors IKO certified?

Yes. Every instructor on our team is IKO certified, and Miky holds the highest level — IKO Master Instructor. It's the standard we hold across both Buen Hombre and Cabarete.

Can I request a specific instructor, like Miky or Davisito?

You can ask and we'll do our best to match you. Keep in mind Davisito coaches advanced riders when he's not training or competing, so beginner lessons are usually with Miky or another certified instructor on the team.

Do Miky and Davisito teach beginners, or only advanced riders?

Miky teaches every level, from your first lesson to advanced coaching. Davisito focuses on advanced coaching — big air, kite loops, and competition-level riding.

What languages does your team speak?

Between us we cover English, Spanish, and Estonian — Helen alone speaks all three, and Riin speaks 8 languages — so a language barrier shouldn't get in the way of your lesson.

Who do I talk to about my trip if it's not about lessons — accommodation, logistics, planning?

That's Riin. She handles operations and experience design across both locations, and the rest of the team is on hand once you arrive.

Who are Pepe, Shakira, Rocky, Coco Chanel, and Lucky?

Our beach dogs — unofficial team members in charge of morale and guest relations. You'll probably meet them on the sand before you meet anyone else.
