The complete progression. Independent, then confident.
In good conditions, most riders reach independent kiting in roughly 20 hours of instruction. The 10-Day Special already delivers that: 11h beginner course + 5h second-level classes + 5h supervised practice (with gear included) = 21 hours. The 14-Day Special adds 6 more hours of supervised practice on top — with kite gear included free — for 11 hours of supervised practice and 27 hours total, to turn "independent" into "confident."
13 nights accommodation · 3 meals daily · bottled water · kite equipment · 11-hour beginner course · second-level kite course (5h classes + 5h supervised practice) · 6 more hours of supervised practice with free kite gear rental (11h supervised practice total) · camp & beach services · storage · compressor · launching/landing · parking · lounge chairs.
14-Day Special: $2,795 per person
Supervised practice is normally $55/hour including gear; with kite gear included free in every package, that's a $180 value built into the price at no extra cost.
TWO WEEKS. NOWHERE NEAR A BEGINNER BY THE END.
Lower season. Half-price accommodation.
During this special period, accommodation is 50% off when booking a qualifying kite stay package — one that includes a full beginner's or second-level kite course.
The kite experience stays intact: meals, equipment, lessons/coaching and camp services according to the selected package.
May is also one of the lowest-wind months of the year — the monthly average still stays above 50% windy days, but it's possible to see 3–4 days in a row with no wind. That's why we recommend a stay of a week or more during this window, rather than a short trip.
MORE KITE. LESS ROOM COST.

Change of season. Half-price accommodation.
Accommodation is 50% off during this special period when booking a qualifying kite stay package — one that includes a full beginner's or second-level kite course.
Historically, around 50% of the days in the month can be windy, while the lower accommodation cost makes this an attractive time for a kite trip.
October is also one of the lowest-wind months of the year — the monthly average still stays above 50% windy days, but it's possible to see 3–4 days in a row with no wind. That's why we recommend a stay of a week or more during this window, rather than a short trip.
COME FOR THE WIND. STAY FOR THE VALUE.
Twelve months.
One kite camp.
Buen Hombre has kiteable conditions throughout the year, with seasonal differences in wind frequency and strength. Regular Kite Stay Packages are available 12 months a year.
And when you're not on the kite? Boat trips. Cayo Arena. Punta Rucia. Downwinders. Fishing. The village. The coastline. Or a lounge chair and absolutely nothing on your schedule.
THAT COUNTS AS A GOOD DAY TOO.

Less logistics.
More kitesurfing.
Wake up. Breakfast. Check the wind. Walk to the beach. Get your kite. Ride. Lunch. Rest. Ride again. Dinner. Repeat.
No driving around to find a kite school. No searching for equipment. No daily restaurant planning.
YOUR ROOM, FOOD, KITE GEAR AND KITE SERVICES ARE ALREADY HERE.

“Buen Hombre has the best conditions I have found in all of the DR — shallow flat water protected by reef, the strongest wind and beautiful sandy beaches. When the rest of the country has no wind, there is still wind in BH.”

Google review

“I have tried a few kite surfing schools in the Dominican Republic and there is a clear winner. Everything they do is designed to make your kite journey a blast — transportation, lodging, graduation ceremonies, great vibe.”
