Let me be direct: Miky is one of the best coaches I've ever had a session with, and I've been kiting for eight years. The setup here is perfect for progression — they run lessons at Kite Beach in the mornings when the wind is building, then afternoons are free to session or join a downwinder. I did three downwinders over twelve days, including one to an island with no name on Google Maps where we stopped for two hours and I saw exactly four other humans. The King Loft is big, comfortable, the shower pressure is excellent, and the pool is the best recovery tool you'll find after four hours on the water. The location being 15 minutes from Kite Beach is genuinely fine — moto-taxi is $2 and takes three minutes. The money you save over beachfront goes straight into more lessons and boat trips, which is exactly how it should be. Already planning my return for next season.
